Warranty

The warranty given in this provision only applies to items supplied by Move bv under a purchase agreement.

A two-year warranty covers the proper functioning of the delivered vehicle, subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions. This includes the engine and structural components. The battery and painted bodywork are covered by a six-month warranty. The warranty covers the repair or replacement of parts, if necessary.

The warranty does not cover malfunctions or defects resulting from: failure to observe operating and/or maintenance instructions by the other party; use of the vehicle other than for normal use; normal wear and tear; installation or repair of the vehicle by third parties without the written permission of Move BV; improper repair of the vehicle by the other party; or non-original parts installed on the vehicle by the other party. The warranty is void if the maximum speed limiter is increased. Move is therefore not liable for any traffic violations.

Furthermore, the warranty does not apply if the cause of the malfunction or defect lies outside the product.

The counterparty cannot assert any right under any warranty until it has fulfilled all its obligations, both financial and otherwise, arising from the agreement concluded with Move bv.

The warranty expires after the owner sells or otherwise transfers the delivered vehicle to a third party within the warranty period.

For repairs covered by the warranty, call-out charges apply. These are €55.00 excluding VAT throughout the Netherlands. There are no additional charges for returning the vehicle to the workshop.
